Family Centre COVID-19 Safety Information

Due to COVID-19, all Family Centre staff, clients, guests, maintenance/delivery personnel and contractors are required to adhere to safety protocols to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Before visiting Family Centre, please become familiar with our COVID-19 Safety protocols.

 

Client/Guest Protocol

Clients/Guests are required to:

  1. Ring the doorbell for entry to the building.
  2. Properly wear a face mask/covering (covering both mouth and nose) when entering the building (no face covering – no entry)
  3. Sign in at each visit to the office and complete temperature check with a contactless thermometer in Reception. If you are unwilling or unable to comply with this request, your staff member contact may offer you remote service delivery or meeting.
  4. Maintain physical distance (2 metres/6 ft) from the person you are meeting and other guests to the building unless they are part of the same household.
  5. Use antibacterial soap to wash your hands or hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the building and frequently while in the building
  6. Be promptly met by the staff person to eliminate extended waiting time in Reception.
  7. Refrain from dropping young people off for an extended period before appointment time. Similarly, older youth, adult clients, and guests should not arrive to spend extended time in the Reception.
  8. Be prepared to possibly wait in your vehicle or outside of the building in order to ensure we can maintain the appropriate physical distancing, until you are notified that you may enter the building for your appointment.
  9. Limit the number of persons arriving with you to the persons who are in your actual appointment.
  10. Promptly exit the building once the appointment is finished.

 

Maintenance, Contractor & Delivery Protocol

Maintenance/Delivery Personnel and Contractors:

  1. Must ring the doorbell for entry to the building.
  2. Will be met in Reception, signed in, and have temperature checked with a contactless thermometer.
  3. Must properly wear a face mask/covering when entering the building (no face covering – no entry)
  4. Must maintain physical distance (2 metres/6 ft) from the person you are meeting and other guests to the building unless they are in your household/group.
  5. Must use antibacterial soap or hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the building and frequently if in the building for an extended period.
